Beginning in the restless energy of New Delhi, my journey unfolded as a gradual immersion into India’s layered history, where modern life pressed up against ancient stone. From there, the road led to Agra, where the quiet symmetry of the Taj Mahal introduced a softer, more contemplative rhythm, before Jaipur opened up in tones of terracotta and rose, its palaces revealing a city shaped by design, colour, and ceremony. The journey culminated in Jodhpur, the Blue City, where hilltop forts and indigo-washed houses seemed to rise organically from the desert itself. Chronologically, the route traced a north Indian arc; thematically, the photographs reflect a dialogue between power and devotion, geometry and ornament, vast landscapes and intimate details each place leaving a distinct visual echo, yet together forming a cohesive portrait of Rajasthan’s enduring spirit.
